Color Symbolism (1)
Our previous experiences may determine some of the associations that we make with certain colors. For instance, I associate light blue with freedom, adventure and a sense of peace. This might be because of the sky in the summer, or because of the clean sea water. But in my case, it certainly is because of my room in my parents’ house where I spent much of my childhood. The walls were painted light blue and, as a child, I remember becoming very quiet the moment I entered that room. That’s where I read stories about cowboys for the first time.
